The basic, traditional questions asked of groups and artists are often perceived as being "dumb," but yet aren't necessarily stupid. In fact, they usually reveal a great deal about the artist, and frequently go unasked. Here's one we didn't want to pass up:

1) Tell us the meaning behind "cen.quo.akt"? How does it fit into the group's philosophy (if indeed you have a shared philosophy)?
we think the name, "cen.quo.akt", itself does indeed support our "philosophy". we wanted a name that was spontaneous and improvised, something that was symbolic of our sound. the three initial members chose the first three letters that came to their mind that could pose as one sylable and we combined them. there was no premeditation.
